Moyeni
Geography and history
Moyeni is a town located in the Quthing region of Lesotho. The name of this town means “Place of Wind” and is lies just 2 km off the A2 road. Moyeni is the most southerly town in the country. The British chose this area to serve as an administrative centre.
Moyeni is also referred to as Quthing and is the only town in this region. Moyeni, or Quthing, is the capital town of the Quthing region and has a total population of around 130 000 residents in the area.
